Insaan ki aulaad hai insaan banega.
Do the hate-mongers ever listen to this song? Long ago I translated this song but right now I cannot find that old post — I’ll link to it as soon as I find it.

yes! one of my favorites line ever of all times … that give me goose-pimples still when i sing it to my baby .. yes, i still do. she didn’t have a ‘name’ till about age 3, and till then, how lovingly i remember, you used to sing these words to her (which now i do):
achha hai abhi tak tera kuchh naam nahi hai
It’s good that right now you don’t have a name
tujhko kisi mazhab se koi kaam nahi hai
You’ve got nothing to do with any religion
jis ilm ne insaano ko taqseem (divide) kiya hai
The knowledge that has divided the people
us ilm ka tujhh par koi ilzaam nahi hai
You don’t carry the blame (or curse) of that knowledge
tu badle huye waqt kee pehchaan banega
You are going to be the sign of a changing time
insan kee aulad hai insaan banega
You’re a child of a human being, you’ll become a human being
wow!!
beautiful lyrics. any idea who composed this song?

Maybe WordPress didn’t like the meanings :-). Anyway, I’ve written them again.
Sahir Ludhianvi. Most of his lyrics of those times are magical. No wonder Amrita Pritam never married because of him.
