Quota Wars in Rajasthan

This was bound to happen sooner or later. The quota machinations triggered by the vested interests are evolving into an uncontrollable epidemic. Although the Congress in New Delhi might term it as a BJP problem because the quota riots are taking place in Rajasthan, the disease may spread in other states too, very soon. After all, to be frank, which community doesn’t want extra privileges, earned or unearned? And who know? May be the Congress is involved because all of a sudden these non-Congress-rules states are going through religious and social turmoil. Just think, now even the Gujjars want quotas. And then there is another SC/ST community called the Meenas that has threatened to launch a stir if they have to share their pie with the Gujjars. Good going.

I think the same that the Congress is involved because all of a sudden these non-Congress-rules states are going through religious and social turmoil. For example in Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan. On the other hand, it is now showing that reservation based policy to get the vote bank is not going to operate further. It is going to end with in 10-20 years.
