My suggestion to anti-quota protestors

I don’t think the anti-quote protests are going to yield any tangible results. This government doesn’t understand the language of democracy. I would suggest the protestors to do the following, from whatever fields they come:
- Anti-quota doctors should stop treating ministers supporting and propagating the quota system — let they be treated by doctors from reserved categories.
- All security personnel having reservations against reservations should stop protecting such politicians.
- Engineers who find reservations unacceptable should stop maintaining infrastructure and machinery.
- Teachers and professors who think reservations are detrimental to the growth of the country should stop taking classes.
- Journalists against quota system should stop covering events involving ministers in favor of reservations.
- Municipality workers should stop supplying water and electricity to such ministers.
And we can keep adding to the list. I think this is how Gandhiji protested against the British — it was called the non-cooperation movement. We need another non-cooperation movement in the country, and this time it’ll have to be carried out without a Gandhi.
