I just deleted a comment posted by someone named Harsh. He’s from Gujarat and he supports the censure Aamir Khan is receiving, and considering this, I think he’ll understand that I had to “ban” his comment for containing lots of lewd language. He should be comfortable with blacking out people we don’t agree with, so there.
I’m not averse to lewd language, but as far as my blog is concerned, it should add value to the overall presentation, and should not just be there to insult a fellow commenter.

Don’t you use wordpress? Give him a dunce cap! Google wp-plugins for the dunce cap plugin dude. I usually delete comments when they don’t have anything to say beyond a stream of insults.
I remember when Rakesh Sharma came to my university to show his film the Final Solution, after the film was finished, all the gujarati students who were in the auditorium stood up and started taking over the Q&A and basically no one could get a question in until the last 10 minutes. All they wanted to say is that “I vos there on that day and I didn’t see an-ee-thing and you are wrong”. It was a goddamn disgrace.

Hi Anangbhai.
I’m aware of the plugin — must install it soon — but one, I don’t get many abusive comments, and second, I wanted to give a message to the commenter that if he thinks banning people is alright, then he shouldn’t mind banning his comment on my blog. Thanks for your suggestion
