Islam is history, says Taslima Nasreen

And some people would say, “Oh, she has lost her head!” That would be in the physical sense ;-). The author of the much controversial book Lajja said in a recent press conference:

The Islam religion and their scriptures are out of place and out of time. It still follows the 7th century laws and is hopeless. The need of the hour is not reformation but revolution.

She also revealed that the noted poetess Kamla Das — now called Kamla Surayya — regretted converting to Islam. The poetess confessed to Taslima that there is no equality for women in Islam and it is one of the most oppressive religions of the world.

BJP, VHP and RSS guys are going to love this and may even declare her Bharat Mata (Taslima maiya ki jai ho!). If she really loves her life she should head for the west as a priority matter because by providing adequate security to the author, the Indian government wouldn’t risk offending the sentiments of the Muslim community.

I agree with you. She must leave India. Indian secularists politician will never grant her asylum.
